After years of baking for friends and family, The Biscuit Tin was officially formed in 2019. All of our products are designed, baked and iced by Rosalind whilst her husband and daughters are chief biscuit tasters!
Our bakery is based on the coast of Northern Ireland where we are surrounded by sea and countryside. We use local ingredients wherever possible including real, Irish butter for the best buttery shortbread taste!
We have a passion for sustainability and we are very particular about where we source our packaging materials! The vast majority of our packaging is recyclable and / or made from recycled materials (even the plastic lids on our gift boxes!) and we encourage everyone to please reuse the bubble wrap included with each parcel where possible to reduce waste. And as for food waste… that hasn’t been an issue so far in our kitchen – we can always find a willing volunteer to eat some spare biscuits!
